Coal is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Coal

Age: 1-Year-Old

Breed:

Meet Coal, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Coal came to CCHS when he was found as a stray in the Neillsville area. He is about 1 year old and weighs 8.9#. This guy is extremely handsome with a solid gray short-haired coat and beautiful golden eyes.

Coal was pretty scared when he first arrived at the Shelter. Once he had time to get used to things, boy did that change! Coal opened up and his personality has just shined through. He is a very social boy who really loves to be around people.

He'll enjoy petting non-stop and then he'd like to be petted some more. He is sweet and gentle and does well with everybody he meets. He is really looking forward to finding his new forever family. You can submit your adoption application for Coal on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially dogs and puppies, so be sure to check them all out.  You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out. We are very much in need of volunteers!

You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Coal, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
