Clark County CNRED Agent Discusses Next Week's Clean Sweep Including Changes to Electronics Prices Thanks to DNR Grant
Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 -- 1:00 PM
Thanks to partnerships between Clark County businesses and departments, the County will be holding a Clean Sweep event on Friday, September 6th.
I spoke with Melissa Kono, Clark and Trempealeau County’s CNRED Agent, and she discussed the purpose of a Clean Sweep, the locations and times, what can be brought, and more. She also discussed a change in the prices of electronics, thanks to an electronic recycling grant from the Wisconsin DNR.
Listen to my interview with Melissa here!
Once again, the Clean Sweep is being held on Friday, September 6th from 9am-11am in Owen at the County Highway Department Garage and from 1pm-3pm in Neillsville at the Clark County Fairgrounds. Businesses can participate in the Clean Sweep as well.
The County asks that you register if you plan on bringing items and you can do so by heading to the Clark County Extension website (https://clark.extension.wisc.edu/). If you have any questions, you can go to their website, call 743-5122, or email [email protected].
