City of Marshfield to Start Asphalt Overlay Project on S. Maple Avenue Starting Tuesday

The City of Marshfield will start the asphalt overlay project on S. Maple Ave. from 16th to 17th Street on Tuesday, September 3.

The work will be done in conjunction with Marshfield Utilities and will consist of installing a new sanitary sewer main, a new water main, new water services, and sewer laterals. Once all the underground work is completed, the Street Division will prep the existing pavement for a new asphalt overlay.

The work is expected to take eight weeks to complete. Until the E. 14th St. project is completed, there will be significant traffic impacts for local residents. Please see the attached map for the closure area and the best streets for access.
