Wednesday's Events at the Central Wisconsin State Fair

The Central Wisconsin State Fair is underway at the fairgrounds in Marshfield.
Today is Senior Citizen day, so seniors 62 years and older can enter the fair for $5. Today is also Veterans Appreciation Day, so from 9am-3pm veterans can enter the fair for $5. The carnival also opens today at 2pm. Individual ride tickets can be purchased. Wristbands will be available for $25 from 2pm-6pm and $30 from 6pm-10pm today. It’s also Senior Day for the rides; seniors can ride the ferris wheel for $2.
Dylan Scott will be performing in front of the grandstand tonight at 7:30pm. Cost is $35, $45 for trackside, and $75 for VIP. In the Family Entertainment Tent, the Hayes Boys Orchestra performs from 11:30am-2:30pm, The Memories performs at 3:15pm and 4:30pm, and Papa Bear Norton performs from 9pm-11:30pm.
Other events include the Hot Glass Academy, pig and duck races, family entertainer Kenny Ahern, and the Marshfield Ukulele Group. They also have Home Grown Goodness presentation featuring a demonstration on preserving food from the garden and a cooking demonstration from Inga Witscher.
You can also meet Kelsey Henderson, Wisconsin’s Fairest of the Fair, from 5pm-9pm. The Junior Fair Market Animal Sale is today at 6:30pm. And, of course, there will be projects on display with judging happening throughout the duration of the fair.
Animal judging and shows will take place as well. There will also be vendors set up throughout the fair. The daily gate passes are $10 for adults 13 and older, children 5-12 are $5, and children 4 and under are free.
