Tuesday Events at the Central Wisconsin State Fair

The Central Wisconsin State Fair gets underway today at the fairgrounds in Marshfield.
Today is Junior Fair day, so adults can enter the fair for $5 and children 12 and under are free. There’s also a lunch special today from 11:30am to 1:30pm with free gate admission.
For grandstand entertainment, The Dweebs are playing tonight at 7:30pm and the show is free with gate admission. In the family entertainment tent today, from 2pm-5pm the Hand-Picked Bluegrass Band is playing and the Dress-a-Cow Contest gets underway at 7pm.
Vendors will also be at the fair today and other events include the Hot Glass Academy throughout the day, pig and duck races, and entertainer Kenny Ahern. They also have the All About Energy Program featuring the Boy Scout Energy Merit Badge Workshop and Pedal Power Challenge.
And, of course, there will be projects on display with judging happening throughout the duration of the fair. Animal judging and shows will take place as well. The daily gate passes are $10 for adults 13 and older, children 5-12 are $5, and children 4 and under are free.
