REPUBLICANS TO WOOD: PAY US BACK

The Wisconsin Republican Party is seeking a payback from a defector.Rep. Jeff Wood of the Chippewa Falls area is running as an Independent this fall.
The decision cost him some leadership positions.
In a letter authored this week, the GOP requests reimbursement of $1,225; money they say was raised by the Party.
Along with the letter, Rep. Wood received the names and addresses of individuals who donated to his campaign so that he can reimburse them if he so chooses.
Right now, Republicans are looking for someone to run as a write-in candidate in the 67th Assembly District.
