School District of Black River Falls Generating Clean Energy
Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 -- 8:01 AM
The School District of Black River Falls is now generating its own clean energy.
They’ve installed a 100 kW solar PV system at the high school. The 244 solar panels produce about 20% of the school's electricity, saving them around $15,000 annually.
Thanks to rebates from Focus on Energy and tax credits from the Inflation Reduction Act, this project is good for the District’s budget and the environment.
