LANPHEAR CONNECTED TO MADISON MURDER?

Could Edward Lanphear have been involved in the murder of Brittany Sue Zimmermann?The 21-year-old University of Wisconsin-Madison student from Marshfield was found dead in her apartment in April.
According to search warrants, investigators found a number of interesting items at Lanphear's Saratoga home, where they believe he held two area men hostage.
Among them was a newspaper clipping about Zimmermann's death.
They also found a newspaper containing information about the 23-year-old man he's accused of abducting.
Lanphear is being held under $1 million bond at the Wood County Jail, charged with 12 felonies ranging from kidnapping to sexual assault to false imprisonment and battery.
Lanphear will next be in court on July 31.
