Neillsville Police Department Looking for Information Regarding Overdose Death

On Friday, August 9th, at approximately 10:32pm, Neillsville Police Officers were dispatched to 239 West Seventh Street for a welfare check.

Before the arrival of police, a family member entered the apartment and found a 42-year-old white male unresponsive. Upon searching the apartment, the police recovered heroin, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia. On Monday, August 12th, police transported the subject to the Ramsey County Minnesota Medical Examiner’s Office, which performed an autopsy.
