Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department Responds to Equipment Fire at Masonite

The Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department responded to an equipment fire at Masonite in Marshfield.

The Marshfield Fire and Rescue department was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at Masonite. Engines 2 and 1, along with Truck 1, and Ambulance 95 responded to the scene.

Upon arrival fire department personnel were informed of a fire within a large piece of equipment within the building. An offensive interior fire attack was made and the fire was quickly extinguished.

One firefighter was transported to the hospital with minor heat related injuries. The fire caused moderate damage to the equipment and the ventilation system within the building.
