Marathon County Sheriff’s Department Welcomes New Deputy

Adam Lieders was sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff with the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office. 

Deputy Lieders is originally from the Stratford area and is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Investigations.

Deputy Lieders has prior experience working in Corrections for the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.  Deputy Lieders will begin the Wisconsin Basic Law Enforcement Academy next week and will then return for his field training program with the Sheriff’s Office.
