Marathon County Sheriff’s Office Announces Promotion of Deputy

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the promotion of Deputy Joel Flathom to the rank of Lieutenant. 

Lieutenant Flathom has served at the Sheriff’s Office for the last seven years. Initially hired as a Reserve Deputy working in Court Security, Lieutenant Flathom was later hired in a full-time capacity as a Patrol Deputy where he has excelled in the performance of his duties.

In addition to his daily responsibilities, Lieutenant Flathom is a Certified Bomb Technician and serves on the Bomb Squad. Congratulations, Lieutenant Flathom on the promotion.
