HATFIELD SUPPER CLUB DESTROYED IN BLAZE

A historic Hatfield restaurant has been destroyed by fire.People have been dining at Palm's Supper Club for over 50 years, but it's a complete loss after fire gutted it yesterday. According to Black River Falls Fire Chief Steve Schreiber, a delivery person noticed heavy smoke coming out of the building just after noon and contacted emergency officials.
Schreiber says nearly 40 firefighters and just about every fire department in Jackson County, along with the Wisconsin DNR fire control, responded to the scene.
Damages are estimated at $600,000.
