The Highground Veterans Memorial Hosting Vietnam Veterans Reunion This Sunday, August 4th

On Sunday, August 4, The Highground will host its annual Vietnam Veterans Reunion combining Vietnam exhibits, Huey helicopter displays (a landing is planned weather permitting), a 1pm presentation by Vietnam Veteran and Author Doug Bradley, and an opportunity to meet other Vietnam veterans at what will be a memorable gathering.
The Highground Veterans Memorial Park was founded as a Vietnam Veterans Memorial in 1984 and continues to honor and remember those who served in the Vietnam War and their families.
All the exhibits and speaker presentations that day will be free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided free for Vietnam veterans who RSVP before July 31.

- 10am (weather permitting): UH-1H Huey landing at The Highground;
- 10am-2pm: “Vietnam Experience” Exhibit – Carl Bogar Jr with Historic Military Impressions;
- 10am- 2pm: Static Display UH-1H Huey Helicopter – Courtesy of VVA 331;
- 11am-1pm: Vietnam Veterans Lunch is served at the Reunion – RSVP’s are necessary (Vietnam Veteran plus one guest)– please contact Theresa [email protected] 715-743-4224;
- 1pm: Presentation by Vietnam Veteran and Author Doug Bradley – “We Gotta Get Out of This Place: The Soundtrack of the Vietnam War”;
- 2pm: UH-1H Huey taking off from The Highground.
