Fatal Tractor Accident near Ettrick

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office has issused a press release for a fatal accident involving a tractor.

On Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 10:24AM a male from Mondovi was operating his tractor northbound on County Road S with several other tractors and drivers. A witness that was following the male said the driver reached down and the tractor got to close to the ditch and overturned, pinning the male driver under the tractor.

Ettrick Fire and First Responders were able to get the tractor partially winched off the male. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Charlie's Towing arrived on scene and assisted with removing the tractor. The male's name is being withheld until family is notified.

Assisting at the scene was: Ettrick Fire and First Responders, Tri County Ambulance, and Charlie's Towing. Buffalo County Sheriff's Office assisted with notification to the driver's family.
