14-Year-Old Bicyclist Struck by a Vehicle on Monday

A 14-year-old bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the City of Marshfield on Monday.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, around 7:09pm on Monday, July 22nd, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on E. Blodgett Street. As the vehicle was approaching the intersection of Blodgett and N. Vine Avenue, the bicyclist rode into traffic.

The driver of the vehicle was unable to stop and struck the bicycle. The bicyclist confirmed the driver’s story as did several witnesses. The bicyclist was taken to Marshfield Medical Center with minor injuries.
