Weiler Convenience Stores, with three local, family-owned locations in Marshfield, is pleased to announce its recent donation of $6,000 to Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) resulting from the successful sale of custom t-shirts.
The entirety of the proceeds from the t-shirt sales was dedicated to supporting the vital work of this rescue, specifically during a busy kitten season. This is the 6th year Weiler’s has hosted a similar fundraiser. (There are still shirts available for those wanting to purchase! Visit any Weiler location.)
The fundraising initiative was spearheaded by Kelly Weiler, owner of Weiler Convenience Stores, who has a strong passion for animal welfare. Demonstrating their commitment to making a positive impact in the community, Weiler Convenience Stores launched a campaign where customers could purchase custom-designed t-shirts, with all proceeds earmarked for MAPS.
“We are delighted to present these donations to the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter,” said Weiler. “As animal lovers and members of this community, we wanted to use our resources to assist MAPS in their essential work of rescuing and providing care for pets in need. It’s a cause that is close to our hearts, and we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute.”
The Marshfield Area Pet Shelter is committed to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming companion animals, ensuring their well-being and promoting responsible pet ownership.
The success of the t-shirt sales campaign is a testament to the generosity and support of the local community, as well as the dedication of Weiler Convenience Stores to giving back.
By joining forces with customers, Weiler Convenience Stores was able to make a significant financial impact on these two deserving animal welfare organizations. The Marshfield Area Pet Shelter expressed their deep gratitude for the donations received.
The funds will go directly towards covering medical expenses, food, shelter, and other essential needs for the animals under their care.
