A Marshfield woman reported her 12-year-old son was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, a woman reported on Tuesday, July 16th, that her 12-year-old son was struck by a vehicle that was turning southbound onto South Oak Avenue from West Veterans Parkway.

The 12-year-old male advised he had a green light and was in the crosswalk traveling northbound, while the back of his bicycle was struck and the vehicle continued southbound. The male and parents denied medical attention and photographs were taken of his abrasions.

The male advised he did not see who was driving and could only say the vehicle was a white colored van or SUV. A canvas of the area was conducted and not cameras were located in the area and no vehicle parts were at the scene of the crash.
