Discussion Underway in Madison Regarding the Future of the UW-System

(Bob Hague, Wisconsin Radio Network) At the Capitol in Madison, discussions are underway on the future of the UW-System.

According to Bob Hague with Wisconsin Radio Network, a study committee of lawmakers, business representatives, educators and local officials heard public comment last week.

The Universities of Wisconsin face budget challenges due to enrollment decreases and other factors. The committee met for the first time last week at the Capitol and will meet again August 1st.
