Marshfield Woman Charged with OWI After Traffic Stop

A Marshfield woman was arrested and charged with OWI after a traffic stop on Thursday.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, around 10:38am on Thursday, July 11th, a detective reported a vehicle stopped in the middle of traffic on North Peach Ave near Waushara St.

Contact was made with a 43-year-old Marshfield female where a consent search was conducted on two of her backpacks. Located in the backpack were multiple drug related items.

Charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of THC will be directed to the Wood County District Attorney's Office. Additionally, the female was charged with first offense OWI.
