City of Marshfield to Begin Repairing Colored Crosswalks on South Central Avenue

The City of Marshfield will begin repairing colored crosswalks on South Central Ave from 3rd Street to 17th Street starting the week of July 15th.

Intersections to be repaired include 3rd, 4th, 9th, 11th, and 17th. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, starting from the north end and heading south. The project will focus on concrete panel work in the northbound lanes, lasting around 2 weeks depending on the weather.

Pedestrians are advised to avoid the affected intersections if possible. Your cooperation and patience are appreciated. Remember to slow down in construction zones for safety. Any questions or concerns please contact the Street Division at 715-486-2081.
