Liberty is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Liberty

Age: 8-Weeks-Old

Breed: Medium-Haired Orange/Buff Colored

Just in time for the 4th of July, it's Liberty! Liberty came to CCHS when found as a stray in Neillsville, hiding under a neighbor's back porch. Liberty was pretty little, so he went to stay with an awesome foster care family. Now he is 8 weeks old and is back at the Shelter, ready to be adopted.

He weighs 2.7# and has a handsome medium-haired orange/buff colored coat. Due to his time in foster care, Liberty is well socialized with people. He is also very playful, and never met a toy he didn't like. He will be a great addition to his new family, sharing lots of love and good times.

You can submit your adoption application for Liberty on our website today: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially kittens and puppies, so be sure to check them all out.

You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours! Liberty and all of us at CCHS wish everyone a Happy and Safe 4th of July Holiday!

Freeday Friday is back!! On Friday, July 5th, Freeday Friday will be held at our original CC Resale Store. It's located at 600 Hewett St, in downtown Neillsville, on the corner opposite the Post Office. This is our “inconvenience store”.

We have lousy parking, terrible hours, not much is organized and we don’t care if you buy anything or not. And yet, people love it. You know why?........cuz it’s all FREE! That’s right, bring your bags, boxes, cars, trucks or buggies and fill ‘em up. It’s all free! We call it Freeday Friday and it’s July 5th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. See you then!!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Liberty, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
