One of two people who led authorities on a high speed chase appeared in Jackson County County Court on Monday.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, back in March of this year, a deputy tried to make contact with Troy Hanson of Mindoro at a residence in North Bend. The deputy made contact with Ashlyn Hanson at the home and the two fled in a vehicle.
The vehicle was eventually found in Trempealeau County and pursued to Jackson County. It was disabled with a tire deflation device and a PIT maneuver. When the chase ended, Ashlyn Hanson held Troy Hanson with an edged weapon before they both surrendered.
Ashlyn appeared in court on Monday and she’s facing charges of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety and resisting or obstructing an officer. During her arraignment, she entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her. She’s scheduled to be back in court on July 17th.
