Marathon County Community Resource Unit Conducts Drug Investigation in Wausau

On June 25th, the Marathon County Community Resource Unit conducted a drug investigation on the northeast side of Wausau, which led to a search warrant being executed at a residence, resulting in the seizure of three quarters of a pound of marijuana, a quarter pound of cocaine, and an illegally possessed firearm.

The combined street value of these illegal substances totals over $13,000. Illegal drugs have no place in Wausau, and the department remains committed to ensuring a safer environment for all residents.
