National Weather Service Confirms Two Tornadoes in Clark County on June 17th

-The National Weather Service confirmed that Clark County experienced two more tornadoes on June 17th.

One of the tornadoes occurred along the Clark/Taylor county line and the other was in Central Clark County. AN EF-1 tornado, meaning it met wind speed criteria of 86-110mph, occurred in the Town of Holway, west of Medford.

Another tornado, an EF-0, occurred near Greenwood. An EF-0 has wind speeds of 70-75mph. That was the same day a tornado hit Colby. No injuries were reported from either tornado. So far, Wisconsin has seen 38 tornadoes this year. The average is 23 per year.
