COLBY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES REFERENDUMS

Another area school is going to district voters with referenda questions.The Colby school board last night approved two referendums totaling about $4 million to renovate buildings and pay down debts.
The referendums will be held on Sept. 9, which is the Fall Primary.
The first question will seek $2.55-million to upgrade school buildings and make them more energy efficient. A big chunk of the money will be used for an upgrade to the heating system.
A public information meeting on the referendums will be held at 8 p.m. July 21 during the school board meeting in the Colby District Education Center.
