Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Disaster Declaration for the County and More

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a disaster declaration for the County at their meeting on Thursday.

This declaration pertains to the tornadoes that hit several areas in Clark County during storms on May 21st. This declaration will be sent to Madison asking for assistance. The Board also approved a resolution that will transfer .201 acres of land for County Highway G construction.

The Board approved a resolution sending condolences to the family of James Arch, a former County Conservationist.  The Board also approved the creation of the Pine Grove Cemetery Plat addition. Finally, the Board approved participating in the Kroger opioid settlement.

The Board also approved appointments to the Board of Adjustments and Local Emergency Planning Committee. They also had a tour of the new County Highway Facility in Loyal, heard the 2023 Extension Report, and heard a presentation on THC in Clark County.
