UPDATE: Nation Weather Service Confirms Tornado Struck Colby During Monday’s Storms

The National Weather Service confirms a tornado caused damage in Colby on Monday.
Authorities stated that they saw a tornado during Monday morning’s storms. The National Weather Service confirmed that an EF-0 did indeed hit downtown Colby. An EF-0 is a 'weak tornado' with winds ranging between 65-85 mph.
Typical damage is branches broken, power lines down and roof damage to buildings, all of which was seen in Colby.
