Strong Storms on Monday Cause Damage in Colby

Strong storms that moved through the area Monday morning caused damage in the Colby area.

The storm caused downed limbs and trees, downed power lines, blew shingles off of roofs, and other damage. Authorities reported seeing a tornado, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet by the National Weather Service. Despite the damage, no one was hurt in Monday’s storms.

Areas in Taylor County also saw storm damage. Today, we’re going to be experiencing high heat and humidity with a chance of more strong storms this afternoon and tonight.
