NEILLSVILLE P.D. WILL CRACK DOWN ON ATV VIOLATIONS

The Neillsville Police Department is going to start cracking down on ATV riders that speed and go off-trail.Police Chief Brad Lindner reminds riders it's illegal to operate an ATV on private property without the permission of the owner. It's also illegal for ATVers to travel to or from the trail to a residence using non-trail streets.
The speed limit for ATVs in the city is 10 mph.
If you're caught, fines can reach up to $250, depending on the violation.
