Clark County Sheriff’s Sergeant Arrested on Suspicion of Sexual Exploitation of a Child

A Clark County Sheriff’s sergeant has been arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child.
According to a press release from the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department, on June 12th, authorities searched a home in the Village of Spencer in connection with an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
During the search, the suspect was identified as a sergeant with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department. The individual was taken into custody and booked into the Taylor County Jail on the suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child, child enticement, threats to injure or accuse of crime, and threats to communicate derogatory information.
After a bond hearing, the suspect was released on a $2,500 cash bond along with a $10,000 signature bond. The name of the sergeant is not being released at this time.
