Eau Claire County Sheriff's Office Looking For Fairchild Stabbing Suspect

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office is looking for suspect in a stabbing incident.

According to a press release from the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 10:46 p.m., Deputies from the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Village of Fairchild for a stabbing incident involving one male victim and one suspect. The victim was taken by EMS to an area hospital. The press release says the Sheriff’s Office believes this is an isolated incident and the public is not in any danger. According to the press release, the suspect fled the scene before law enforcement arrived and is described as being “white, unknown sex, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and ski mask at the time of the incident.”
