Last night, Wednesday, June 5th, marked the first Music In The Park at Neillsville's Schuster Park on the Joe Anason Sound Stage.

Local favorite, Abby Mathis, delighted the crowd of about 100 throughout the evening singing a mix of cover and original songs.

Early concerns over poor weather conditions proved unfounded as the evening shaped into pleasant conditions for a great night of free, family-friendly music in the park.

Music In The Park will continue next Wednesday, June 12th with high-energy celtgrass - Celtic / maritime / folk duo The Foxfire Affair. The complete Music In The Park schedule is:

6/12 - The Foxfire Affair

6/19 - Doug Kroening

6/26 - County Lines Band

The Clark Cultural Art Center will sell beverages and a featured dessert item each week.

Music In The Park is able to happen thanks to Joe Anason, who for his Eagle Scout Project planned, designed, and raised funds to create a band shelter for the city of Neillsville. The Joe Anason Sound Stage project was completed in 2018.

This free family-friendly event is presented by Central Wisconsin Broadcasting and Clark Cultural Art Center (CART)
