Tuesday, June 17th, 2008 -- 9:18 AM

Authorities say a two-vehicle crash on Highway 29 west of Wausau killed a pair of sisters and a brother and sister.

Marathon County Medical Examiner John Larson says the four victims were the driver and three back-seat passengers in a car that collided with a pickup truck.

The truck's driver and a passenger survived and were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.

The Marathon County Sheriff's Department is releasing the names of the victims of the crash between a car and a truck on Highway 29 that killed four people Monday.

The driver of the car is identified as 67-year-old Yang Soua Xiong of Wausau.

The three passengers who were killed are identified as 60-year-old Choua Yang, 67-year-old Mai Yia Moua, and 64-year-old Jor Moua all of Wausau.

The sole survivor from the car, 60-year-old Sai Sue Xiong, and the driver of the truck, 60-year-old Eric R. Molmgren of Shoreville, MN survived the crash and were taken to a local hospital with injuries.

The crash was reported about 6:20 a.m. Monday in the town of Marathon.

Officials say the car was headed west and the truck was going east, but the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
