Jackson Emergency Management Conducting Search and Rescue Exercise this Saturday

Thursday, May 30th, 2024 -- 12:00 PM

This Saturday June 1st, from roughly 6am until roughly 6pm, Jackson County Emergency Management will be teaming up with the Wisconsin Trail Ambassadors, the Wisconsin National Guard, Ho-Chunk Emergency Management and possibly the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to conduct a Search and Rescue EXERCISE in Jackson County.

During this time there may be an increase in vehicle traffic on the trails and there may also be a Blackhawk helicopter and possibly a small fixed wing plane flying overhead.

All of the Wisconsin Trail Ambassador’s UTVs and Jeeps will be appropriately marked. Again this is an EXERCISE.
