Clark County ATV/UTV Trails Open Today
Friday, May 24th, 2024 -- 1:01 PM
Most of Clark County Forestry and Parks ATV & UTV trails will re-open at noon today, Friday May 24th, with one closed trail and one detour.
Please plan ahead for alternate routes. The east/west trail from Bachelors Ave to intersection 12 on Bald Peak Forest Road is closed. The alternate route will be Bachelors Avenue to Chili Road.
In the Town of Hewett, Bruce Mound Avenue between CTH B and intersection 5 is under construction and closed. The alternate route will be on CTH B to intersection 6.
Please use extreme caution as some trails may have debris and narrower trails form downed trees, especially in the central portion of the county forest trail system between Timber Lane Forest Rd and Hwy 10.
Trails are rough and there continues to be active logging and trucks hauling. Riders are reminded to stay on the trail, obey all signs and laws, and to please ride responsibly.
Knobby Ridge Off-Road Motorcycle Trails remain closed until further notice. Wild Rock Horse trails remain open but are being evaluated and cleanup efforts will be taking place so please use caution. Campgrounds are open and storm damage was minimal.
Clark County trails are subject to periodic closure; for updates on recent closures and/or openings please contact the Forestry and Parks Department at 715-743-5140, or visit the county website at www.clarkcountywi.gov for more information on our trail system.
