Reports of Cyberbulling and Inappropriate Content for Children in Video Game World of Roblox

(WBAY) Terrifying reports are coming from parents about the Roblox gaming platform.

According to WBAY, we’ve heard the alarm bells before but the concerns are resurfacing with parents warning other parents on social media about inappropriate content on Roblox. Roblox is a user-generated world.

You create a profile and characters that look a bit like LEGOs, and then off you go into a world of possibilities. That’s where something that’s not age-appropriate for your child comes into play, so parents need to know how to make it a safe play zone for your child.

There have been a lot of reports around the world of children being targeted by predators and with inappropriate content. Some parents have reported their kids stumbling into digital “sex rooms” within the gaming platform or getting lured into and locked inside digital rooms with a stranger. Cyberbullying is also a concern.
