Box Truck Strikes Viaduct Bridge on Lincoln Avenue in Marshfield

The Marshfield Police Department responded to a box truck striking the viaduct bridge on Lincoln Avenue in the City of Marshfield.
According to a report from the Department, they responded to the accident on Wednesday, May 15th around 12:22pm. Upon the arrival of an officer, he discovered a box truck lodged under the viaduct bridge on Lincoln Avenue.
The driver stated he was unable to reverse out. The driver stated he was heading north on S. Lincoln Avenue with the intent of going to the House of Heating. While attempting to cross under the bridge, he hit it.
The vehicle was eventually removed and Canadian National Railway deemed the viaduct safe for trains to cross and train traffic resumed. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
