Tomah Man Enters Plea for Shooting Incident

A Tomah man arrested after a shooting incident in the City of Tomah entered a plea for the incident in Monroe County Court.
According to the Tomah Police Department, back in June of last year, they received a report of a person who had been shot near the Super 8 Motel. A while later, police were called to another address for a report of a person “bleeding profusely.”
An investigation led to the arrest of Krimzen Perea. During a plea hearing, Perea was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, two amended counts of 1st degree reckless injury - use of a dangerous weapon.
He was also found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, another count of 1st degree reckless injury - use of a dangerous weapon and aggravated battery, intended great bodily harm - use of a dangerous weapon.
Several other charges were dismissed and read in and he’s scheduled for sentencing on June 27th.
