Students Sponsored by Wood County Sheriff's Department Graduate From 38th Law Enforcement Academy

Congrats to the 38th Law Enforcement Basic Training Academy.

They graduated from Mid-State Technical College. The Wood County Sheriff's Department wants to recognize two students the Department sponsored for the academy, Nicole Gruber, and Wayne Muller.

Wayne was hired full time by the Portage County Sheriff’s Department, and Nicole was hired by the Marshfield Police Department. The Department is very proud of both of them.

Nicole used to work at the Department, starting her law enforcement career as a Corrections Officer, then continued with the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

Officer Gruber was the Vice President of her class and gave an awesome speech. She recognized the people that meant the most in her life, her family. It was humbling to listen to.

Congrats to them both and the Wood County Sheriff's Department is looking forward to working with both of them.
