One Person is Dead Following a Single-Vehicle Crash in Trempealeau County

(WEAU Staff) One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Trempealeau County, according to WEAU Staff.

According to a press release from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, on May 14, 2024, at approximately 11:10 p.m. authorities received a crash alert from a cell phone. The press release says authorities tracked the alert to the area of County Highway B, near Myhre Road in the Town of Sumner, just South of Osseo.

Authorities arrived on scene and found that the occupant in the vehicle was dead, according to the press release. The incident is under investigation.
