Abbotsford Mathletes Have Successful Competition in Pittsville

On Wednesday, May 1st, the top 12 mathletes from Abbotsford Middle School competed at a middle school math competition at Pittsville.

There were 31 area teams competing, and the Abby Black team took 2nd place! The Abby Red team took 11th out of 31 teams. In addition to the Abby Black team taking second out of thirty-one teams, there were multiple individual award winners from Abbotsford Middle School.

Seventh grade students, Hailey and Emmett took 6th and 7th, respectively, out of 124 students! Sixth grade student Arian took 12th out of 124 middle school students, and eighth grader Sia took 19th.
