Thorp Students Perform at State Solo Ensemble

Friday, May 10th, 2024 -- 12:00 PM

This past Saturday, May 4, Thorp Choir and Band students performed in 11 events at State Solo & Ensemble at UW-Eau Claire.

These students performed a Class A piece at the District Solo & Ensemble Festival at Colby High School back in February and earned a rating of 1st, qualifying them to perform at State. CONGRATULATIONS on your excellent performances this past weekend!

Gold Medal (1st):

• Vocal Solo – Daniel Mathison,
• Music Theater Solos - Cody Brandt & Chloe Egge,
• Soprano & Alto Duet - Chloe Egge & Jaedyn Stratton.

Silver Medal (2nd):

• Vocal Solos – Cody Brandt,
• Chloe Egge, & Jaedyn Stratton,
• Music Theater Solos - Hailey Ciolkosz & Jaedyn Stratton,
• TTB Trio - Cody Brandt, Daniel Lechleitner, & Daniel Mathison,
• Alto Saxophone Solo - Vivian Brown.
