Wausau Police Officer Recognized for Reaching 10 Years in Law Enforcement

Congratulations to Wausau Police Officer Claire Ostrowski on reaching her 2-stripe milestone, for 10 years in law enforcement.

Officer Ostrowski came to Wausau in 2020, with 6 years prior experience. She has been a tremendous asset, serving both as an instructor and field training officer with our department.

For every 5 years of law enforcement service, the Wausau Police Department presents their staff with a gold service stripe to be worn on their long-sleeve uniform.

Service stripes are small, but each stripe is significant and symbolizes a tremendous amount of positive impacts each officer has made in the community.
