Coronavirus Numbers for December 16th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,524 positive cases, an increase of 17 over yesterday.  Of those, 148 are currently active.  Clark County has had 45 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 442,396 positive cases (an increase of 3,501 over the previous day) and 4,122 deaths, an increase of 54 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 19,510, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 5,476 positive and 62 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 8,537 positive and 65 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,082 positive and 6 deaths.

Marathon has seen 11,023 positive and 142 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,475 positive and 13 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 5,069 positive cases and 32 deaths.
