Dexter, North, and South Wood County Park Campgrounds Open

Dexter, North, and South Wood County Park Campgrounds and all amenities associated with them have opened.

Camping reservations are required. You can check if there are available sites at any time on their camping and reservation system. Log in or create an account and make your reservation online. Beaches officially open Memorial Day weekend.

There are no lifeguards on duty at any time. Many activities can be enjoyed in the parks such as fishing, boating, hiking, biking, picnicking, disc golf, playground areas, etc.

Their new 2024 Park Brochures will be available at the campgrounds, their office, and various businesses throughout Wisconsin Rapids, Pittsville, and Marshfield. You can receive more information by calling or emailing the Wood County Forestry and Parks Department or visiting their website or social media pages.
