Clark County Sheriff's Department Holds Successful Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The 2024 Clark County Prescription Drug Take Back Day was a great success:

  • They collected 102.4 lbs. from the collection box located at the Sheriff’s Office;
  • 44.6 lbs. from the collection site monitored by the Neillsville Police Department;
  • 29.4 lbs. from the collection box located at Loyal Police Department;
  • 15.8 lbs. from the Owen collection site;
  • And 12.6 lbs. from the Greenwood collection site.

Prescription Drug Take Back Day was held on Saturday, April 27th.

Community members are also reminded that many drug disposal boxes are open year-round at the following locations within Clark County:

  • Thorp Police Department,
  • Loyal Police Department,
  • Colby-Abbotsford Police Department,
  • And the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
