Sentencing Set for Man Found Guilty in Apple River Stabbing

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) Court records show sentencing is scheduled for 54-year-old Nicolae Miu, according to WEAU staff.
According to court records, a sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 31, 2024. On April 11, 2024, a jury found Nicolae Miu guilty of 1st-degree reckless homicide in the stabbing death of Isaac Schuman.
Miu was also found guilty on four counts of 1st-degree recklessly endangering safety for stabbing and injuring four others along the Apple River in St. Croix County in July of 2022.
