Thorp FFA Member Takes First in Prepared and Extemporaneous Speaking

Thorp FFA member Luke Schraufnagel took first place in Prepared and Extemporaneous speaking.

Luke will be moving on to State as he represents Section 7. His prepared speech was titled “Feeding Academics”. The speech focused on the importance of quality food and proper fats for growing bodies, and the need for protein.

The speech also addressed locally grown food and how to work with Food Service in sourcing food locally. Thank you to the amazing Food Service director Dan Abramczak and the kitchen personnel for going the extra mile in supporting this great aspect of our district.
