Chip is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Chip

Age: 6-years-old

Breed: Lab Mix

Meet Chip, the Pet of the Week! Chip is a neutered male Lab mix. He weighs 54.9# and is almost 6 years old. Chip had been adopted from CCHS back in 2018, but he returned to the Shelter due to a change in family dynamics in his home.

Chip is a really nice boy. He's a handsome guy with a short-haired coat of light brown and white. He has very soulful brown eyes. Best of all, he's well past the puppy stage of craziness. He's still young enough to enjoy lots of activities with his new family, but without all that puppy energy.

He knows quite a few commands and likes to sleep on the couch. While he was sad to come back to the Shelter, Chip is looking forward to meeting his new forever family. You can submit your adoption application for Chip on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots of animals at CCHS right now, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Chip, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
